Photo Retouching & Restoration
Retouching and restoring photographs is a time-consuming art form and can range from simple resizing, removing red-eye or cropping to changing background, adding or removing a person or removing cracks, mold and discolorations.
Simple restoration normally includes basic removal of cracks, speckles and blotches and improving contrast (and color, if color photo.) Such basic services average $30.00 per photo and include both digital copy and one print.
Moderate restoration normally includes all of the above and removal of severe scratches, tears, spots, stains, and recreation of missing areas. Such moderate services average $50.00 per photo and include both digital copy and one print. (See sample here.)
Category I Retouching of photos normally includes such services as removing red-eye, smoothing skin, changing background, changing number of subjects, altering hair, clothing, straightening and/or whitening teeth, etc. Fee is $35.00 per photo.
Category II Retouching includes glamourization, portraitization, pop art, composites, collages, artists' effects (watercolor, oils, pastels, cartoon, texturization, etc.), motion effects, and other customized services. Quote will be provided.
Multiple digitial photo orders will be provided on CD. Additional CD's $10.00 each.
